NDIS recommend having all devices and communication tools under assistive technology or consumables as a "Stated Support" on an NDIS Plan. This will avoid ambiguity and ensure clarity of payment terms.
See your Support Coordinator, Local Area Coordinator, Occupational Therapist or Speech Pathologist to clarify you Assistive Technology funding.

Claiming
Upfront Payment / Direct Purchase from the App Store
Step 1: Submit an application (https://ourguidelines.ndis.gov.au/media/1758/download?attachment) to NDIS for Approval.
Step 2: Once you have received confirmation of approval in writing, order the app from the Apple App Store.
Step 3: Submit the Apple invoice for reimbursement from the NDIS via the instructions on the approval letter.
Order from a Reseller
Step 1: Use the Assistive Tech NDIS Ordering tool (https://easyas.assistivetech.com.au) to start your order and download a Service Agreement.
Step 2: Submit an application (https://ourguidelines.ndis.gov.au/media/1758/download?attachment) to NDIS for Approval, accompanied by the Service Agreement
Step 3: Share your approval letter with Assistive Tech
Step 4: Assistive Tech will fulfil your order and take care of the NDIS claiming process for you.
Note: A $25 processing fee applies to app orders placed with Assistive Tech to cover their cost of administering the process.
